Paste your video link
In the Nysos form, paste the address of your YouTube video, up to 8 hours of source. Pick a caption style or a saved preset and start. Nysos transcribes the video, finds the strong moments and prepares the clips.
You publish videos that run ten, twenty or sixty minutes, and every Short costs you an evening of editing: finding the right moment, cropping to vertical, adding captions, writing a title. Nysos does that work for you. Paste the link to your video, or let the Live Watcher follow your channel, and you get vertical 9:16 clips with animated captions. You stay in control: you review, adjust and publish only what you like.
In the Nysos form, paste the address of your YouTube video, up to 8 hours of source. Pick a caption style or a saved preset and start. Nysos transcribes the video, finds the strong moments and prepares the clips.
Add your channel to the Live Watcher: every new video in the Videos tab is processed on its own, with the preset you chose. The proposed clips are waiting for you, without you pasting a single link.
Listen to the clips, fix a word or the length if needed, then download the MP4 or publish to your YouTube channel or to TikTok, right away or scheduled, depending on your plan.
A vlog, an explainer, an analysis, an interview and a reaction video don't hold the same good moments. In a vlog it is often an anecdote that stands on its own. In an explainer, one idea explained in thirty seconds with its hook line. In an analysis, one clear argument. Nysos reads the transcript, listens to the audio and looks at the picture to suggest those passages, so you don't have to replay your whole video yourself.
Reactions and interviews are cut differently: the answer that surprises, the moment you crack up, the question that opens the topic. Nysos shows you the strong moments and you choose the ones that work without the context of the long video. Each clip also gets a short title written in the language of your video, whether you publish in French, English or German.
Instead of pasting a link for each upload, you add your YouTube channel to the Live Watcher. It is included in every plan, the free one too, which gives you 60 minutes a month with no credit card. The Live Watcher then watches the Videos tab and automatically processes the new videos that appear there, using the preset you picked: caption style, title card, intro, logo.
The automatic watch takes videos from 3 minutes to 2 hours. For a video longer than 2 hours, simply paste the link in the form, which accepts sources up to 8 hours. The minutes processed count against your monthly quota.
Your video is horizontal, your Short is vertical. Nysos decides shot by shot: when you are alone on camera, a 9:16 column follows your face frame by frame; when two people are clearly visible, the screen splits into two stacked panels; when no face can be tracked, on a diagram or a screen capture for instance, the video is centered on a blurred background. You can also crop by hand from the clip page.
Animated captions are added to every clip, with the spoken word highlighted, in six styles: Nysos Pro, Storytime, Punch, Anime, Casual and Clean. Each clip also gets a title of 60 characters at most, which you can show as a title card for 5 seconds, and real silences are cut. The caption text is corrected by AI after transcription, and you can still fix a word in the editor.
Once the clips are approved, connect your YouTube channel and/or your TikTok account and publish from Nysos: right away, or scheduled for a date from the Planning view. You set the visibility (public, unlisted or private on YouTube), the title and the description. On a free account, the published clip carries the “Made with Nysos” watermark.
It is a common practice among YouTubers to use Shorts as a window onto the long video: an excerpt, then a link to the full video in the description. The YouTube description can hold up to 5,000 characters, enough for the link and a short summary.
Paste the link to your video in Nysos, pick a caption style and start the processing. Nysos transcribes, finds the strong moments, crops to 9:16, then captions and titles each clip. To stop pasting links altogether, add your channel to the Live Watcher: it picks up every new video in the Videos tab.
It processes the videos on your channel that last from 3 minutes to 2 hours: they go through on their own. For a video above 2 hours, paste its link in the form instead: it accepts sources of up to 8 hours.
Connect your YouTube and/or TikTok account, open the clip and choose to publish. Publishing right away works on every plan; scheduling for later is available from Starter on recent accounts. On TikTok you set visibility, comments, Duet and Stitch; on YouTube, public, unlisted or private.
The usual practice is to put the link to the full video in the Short's description, with a sentence that makes people want to see the rest. When you publish from Nysos, you write the description yourself (up to 5,000 characters) and choose the title, 100 characters at most on YouTube. The title Nysos suggests gives you a base.
The form takes a YouTube link, but it is up to you to make sure you hold the rights to the video. Nysos is built for your own content: vlogs, analyses, interviews, explainers or reaction videos you made yourself. If in doubt, ask the author for permission.
