Import the recording
Upload your interview file or paste the YouTube link if it is already published. A recorded video call, a studio shoot or a set: the source can run up to 8 hours.
An hour-long interview usually holds a handful of answers that stand on their own: a sharp question, a candid reply, a good story. Nysos finds them in your recording and offers them as vertical 9:16 clips with captions, using a split screen when two people are on camera. You upload the file or paste the YouTube link, keep the clips you like, then download or publish them.
Upload your interview file or paste the YouTube link if it is already published. A recorded video call, a studio shoot or a set: the source can run up to 8 hours.
Nysos analyzes the transcript, the audio and the picture, then suggests the best moments. A question followed by its answer often makes a complete clip. Keep the ones you like and adjust the start or end if needed.
Each clip comes out as a vertical MP4 with animated captions and a short title. Download them one by one or as a ZIP, or connect your TikTok or YouTube account to publish straight from Nysos.
If your interview is already on YouTube, paste the link into the form and Nysos fetches the video and starts the analysis. If it is not online, upload the file directly, up to 20 GB per file within your plan's storage. Both routes give the same result, and a source can last up to 8 hours.
For an interview recorded over a video call, download the recording from your video-call platform, then upload the file like any other video. The same goes for a studio or on-set shoot: start from the camera file.
The language is detected automatically during transcription, and clip titles are written in the language of the video. An interview in Spanish or German gets captions and titles in that language with no setting to touch. The caption text is corrected by AI, and you can fix a misspelled name by hand.
The 9:16 framing is decided shot by shot. When two people are clearly visible in the same shot, as in a conversation across a table, Nysos switches to a split screen: two stacked panels, one face per panel, captions in the middle on the seam. With one person on screen, the vertical column follows their face frame by frame.
When a shot is too hard to follow, for example a face that is hard to track, the video is centered on a blurred background. If the result is not what you want, you can reframe by hand from the clip's page, with one full-screen frame or two stacked frames, then return to automatic framing whenever you like.
How you film matters a lot. Framing works better when each person is filmed clearly, with their own image. A “gallery” view that lines up several thumbnails gives small faces. If you can choose, record your video call in a layout where each person gets a real share of the screen.
In an interview, a good clip often comes in two beats: the question, then the answer. When the question sets the context and the answer finishes its idea, the clip makes sense without the rest. Nysos suggests the strong moments and you decide which ones go out. In the clip's page you adjust the start and end or cut a passage in the middle. The source stays available for 7 days, or 30 days with a subscription or an uploaded file.
Real silences are removed automatically: very low sound lasting at least 0.35 seconds with no spoken word, keeping a 0.25-second margin on each side. A long pause between the question and the answer can therefore be tightened. Captions are re-synced, and at most 45% of a clip is removed.
Animated captions are added to every clip word by word, with the spoken word highlighted. Pick one of six styles (Nysos Pro, Storytime, Punch, Anime, Casual, Clean) or none, in the form, in a preset or later from the clip's page. Each clip also gets a short title of 60 characters or fewer, in the language of the video: you can edit it and show it as a title card for 5 seconds.
Before publishing an excerpt, ask your guest for their consent. A clip pulls an answer out of its context, so it is better that the person knows which passages will circulate and where. This consent is a matter between you and the person you interviewed. Keep a record of that consent, for instance a written message.
Upload the interview file or paste its YouTube link into Nysos. The tool analyzes the video and suggests vertical 9:16 clips with captions and a title. Keep the ones you like, adjust if needed, then download the MP4 files or publish to YouTube from Nysos.
Same path: import the interview, pick the suggested clips, then download them or connect your TikTok account to publish from Nysos. You can publish right away or schedule a post from the Planning view, depending on your plan.
